The name is just derived from Hyperdrives since those are pretty synonymous with Star Wars and there's no one name for the general technology used in Star Wars.Дroids have a variety of unique mechanics, even compared to other mods of ours using the energy need code. They're relatively cheap to get if you have the materials but the complex variety make it difficult to get a steady supply of them all. These are the Outer Rim specific components used in the crafting of many of the items and buildings in the mod. There's reason behind all of the items in the core content. Things like buildings (installations, crafting, etc) and items used by droids, things that shouldn't need a specific era to be active generally also fall into this category, Lightsabers and simple Jedi robes are also in here, the crystals need to always be seen by the C# in the mod due to the way that must work so I didn't see the point in having crystals always be available but not the lightsabers that use them. There's a decent chunk of the mod that is not able to be disabled (there's reasons for them all, primarily that most other modules require them in some form). I have previously stated I'd keep the mod separated for modularity, but more recently I'd discovered flaws to the reasoning that having them separated is better for that, it's not it just forces dependencies on modules requiring others either with a hard requirement or optionally with an excessive number of patches to integrate the content.Д«asically, with it being in one package and enabled on demand, the same content can exist for multiple modules and just be enabled if it's needed, minimal patches so minimal work on my end for it and the cost is what? Users having to set the content they want in the options instead of the load order? Sounds like a massive benefit for the cost.
